Yes. We replace single broken tiles as well as larger sections. While we’re on the roof we’ll also check for other cracked or slipped tiles, so you know about anything else before it causes a leak.
We source the closest match available for your concrete or terracotta tiles. Some older profiles are no longer made, so the colour or shape can vary slightly — we’ll talk you through the options before any work starts.
A valley is the internal channel where two sloping sections of roof meet. On tiled roofs it’s lined with a valley iron that carries rainwater down to the gutter, so it handles a lot of water in heavy rain.
Rust streaks, holes, heavy lichen or water overflowing the valley in heavy rain are common signs. Leaks or stains inside near where two roof sections meet can also point to a failing valley. We’ll inspect it and tell you honestly.
